So, the interesting output of ./configure is this:

> checking --disable-gtktest argument... gtk test enabled
> checking for gtk-config... (cached) no

> checking for pkg-config... (cached) /usr/bin/pkg-config
> checking for GTK - version >= 2.2.0... no
> checking for GTK - version >= 1.1.16... no
It says it can't find GTK (to be more precise: the gtk-config script). You're
propably missing the development package of GTK (don't know what and how to
install it on Solaris).
