Ok. I've also found I can fix it by doing :diffoff in the new tab, and :diffthis in the old tab. I can understand having to do :diffoff to change the foldcolumn and other diff settings that were derived from the first window. But I think the folding being screwed up in the original window is a bug. Do you agree?
