I'll second that; I would also love to see the breakindent setting included in Vim, because it makes working with long broken lines in indented files (think long comments in source code) so much easier. In fact, when I first read the announcement of that path on this list, I thought this naturally would go into Vim, so I was quite disappointed when I couldn't find it in Vim 7.1! Thomas, thanks for digging up the old link; I'll try to compile and test this patch, too.
