And if there is no reply within a "reasonable" time (IMHO you should
wait at least a week), or if the address bounces, send the changes to
Bram (bram -at- moolenaar -dot- net) as a context diff, mentioning that
you wrote to the maintainer at such and such an address on such and such
a date, and also (depending on circumstances) that there was no reply so
far, or that the address bounced. Bram will then perhaps ask you if you
want to become the new maintainer.
