Because gt/gT do different thing than :tn/:tp. The default behavior for gt/gT is to cycle to the next/prev tab, which is not the same as what :tn/:tp does, if you think that gt/gT should do the same thing with :tn/:tp then you can just easily override that in your .vimrc: nmap gt :tn<CR> nmap gT :tp<CR> nazri. -- You received this message from the "vim_dev" maillist.
