My ~/Session.vim (handwritten, i.e. not generated by :mksession; but
still loaded by running "gvim -S" with no other argument) ends with
tabfirst
wincmd b
wincmd W
sleep 3
intro
(after creating a "first tab" with many windows in it, then several
additional tabs with one window each), however when clearing the intro
screen after startup (e.g. by hitting the spacebar) I am in the top
window, not in the 2nd from bottom. The same happened with the two
:wincmd lines above replaced by the single
exe (winnr('$') - 1) 'wincmd w'
This happens with the new 7.3b and also with (at least the last
changesets of) Vim 7.3a. If it makes any difference, this is a Huge
build with GTK2/Gnome2 GUI.
Best regards,
Tony.
