Splitting a FAQ into multiple pages is a bad idea, because people often want to search it for keywords using their browser/editor/etc. search function and splitting it into several sections hinders it. Finding a hosting for the FAQ's text file (and resultant HTML) is not such a big problem to require us to resort to splitting it across multiple pages.
