Patch 7.3.051
Problem: Crash when $PATH is empty.

that's what it looked like in the email, but

Problem: Crash when
/home/mool/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/home/mool/java/jdk/bin:/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/games:/usr/sbin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/local/linux-
jdk1.3.1/bin:/usr/local/lib/python2.2/Tools/idle is empty.

is what it looks like in 'hg incoming'

Sorry about that. $PATH got expanded when running the commit script.

Unfortunately I don't think there is any way to edit a previous ecommit
message after "hg push".

Not once someone else has pulled it, at least, since the commit message is part of what is used to compute the changeset ID. Well, use single quotes next time, or maybe backslash-escaping - or insert a bogus space after the dollar sign - so the environment variable name won't be expanded.

Best regards,
Tony.

Shamus, n. [Yiddish]:
A shamus is a guy who takes care of handyman tasks around the
temple, and makes sure everything is in working order.
A shamus is at the bottom of the pecking order of synagog
functionaries, and there's a joke about that:
A rabbi, to show his humility before God, cries out in the
middle of a service, "Oh, Lord, I am nobody!" The cantor, not to be
bested, also cries out, "Oh, Lord, I am nobody!"
The shamus, deeply moved, follows suit and cries, "Oh, Lord, I
am nobody!" The rabbi turns to the cantor and says, "Look who thinks
he's nobody!"
