When I do :tabe %, the % file gets edited in a new tab, but the current
cursor position in the original tab is lost.

1) edit a file in vim (single tab).
2) 50% - position the cursor half-way down the file.
3) :tabe % - open the same file in tab 2; in tab 2, the cursor is correctly
put half-way down the file
4) gT - go back to tab 1

Actual result - the cursor on tab 1 is on line 1.
Expected (?) result - the cursor should still be half-way down the file.

Is this a bug?

Sam
