Sorry first of all if this is not the right place to ask this. If I do :tab split the current buffer opens in a new tab
but if I do :tab buffer n the current tab changes to buffer n (doesn't create a new tab). I have this behavior with the latest vim. Is this a bug or a feature? (I would prefer for it to open a new tab with the specified buffer). Thanks. -- You received this message from the "vim_dev" maillist. Do not top-post!
