Does the current vim.sf.net page tell about existing repositories where vim patches mature ?
If if they are never merged upstream it would be nice to have a local place to share them. I know about a git repository which collects many of them. How do you think about adding a description of this on the download or development page on vim.sf.net? Something simple like this should suffice: Repositories containing upstream Vim patches. Does it even make sense to extend the member area so that you can publish such patches the same way you publish VimL scripts? both mercurial and git have simple tools such as pbranch / top-git which can help keeping patches up to date. The reason why I'm asking is that I talked to Ben about a forceeol option which should be set by default but if not set allows writing no endofline even if binary is not set. Now I'd like to know on which repository I should base this small proposal. In this case its not worth talking about it. It would still be nice if could find a way to reference projects like this mirror: https://github.com/b4winckler/vim on the main vim page. Thoughts?
