Did anyone have time to check the patch?

The Conque Shell plugin allows Vim users tor run a shell in a Vim
buffer. We can then easily copy and paste the content of the application
running in the shell, syntax highlight the output, and even use Vim to
process the output and take useful actions based on the output. This is
very useful for interpreted languages.

Are there plans to add this feature to Vim, making Conque Shell unnecessary?

In Vim's documentations, at develop.txt, it's stated that Vim wasn't
designed to run other applications interactively: "Vim is not a shell or
an Operating System. You will not be able to run a shell inside Vim or
use it to control a debugger." So, are there objections to support
Conque Shell?

Thanks!
