But folding for one line makes no sense at all, it confuses people to think that there're multiple lines at there, but actually it isn't.
It doesn't always make no sense. As I said earlier, you may have foldtext or fold highlighting that means something to you.
And you can test, if the line is shorter than screen line, then no folding for it, why not, if you say it's a feature? It should be folded too.
I think there is a bug here, but it's not the bug you think. I can make a short single line fold, but it doesn't always do it at first. It seems I have to make a two-line fold and then shorten it before the single line will fold. I think this is the bug. It should fold straight away.
