Somehow the "wrong" patch still got sent as attachment; but there was a
patch to main.c inline in the email.
This patch, however, treats :set lines and :set columns differently when
they happen in startup. Wouldn't it be more elegant to check the bounds
either in function do_set (options.c lines 4040 sqq.) or wherever it is
that the actual resize happens (gvim already checks that the pixel size
of the monitor is not exceeded; this new check would have to happen just
before that IIUC), so that these upper and lower bounds be enforced
whenever 'lines' or 'columns' are modified?
