End-of-line spaces are IMHO a nuisance.
You can make them obvious by
:set list listchars=tab:\|_,eol:ś
or remove them by
:%s/ \+$//e
or even (if you're a daring guy) by
:autocmd BufWritePre * %s/ \+$//e
