In gvim 7.3.244 on Linux, f4 does what is expected (moves to the next
digit 4 every time, except if already on the last 4 in the line), but
after that, ; moves by twos like you said.
I think it is a bug.
IIUC, the fact that f F t T ; , don't move out of the current line is
intended. I don't see it in the help though: maybe that's a
documentation bug.
