The 'n' command seems to search for '1' if used without any previous search. This strikes me as odd behavior, perhaps a bug? Both nvi and elvis produce error messages ('No previous search') in the same circumstance.

I cannot reproduce this:

    % vim -u NONE -U NONE -i NONE

(This starts vim with no vimrc/gvimrc/viminfo files.)

Pressing "n" results in:

    E35: No previous regular expression

Which is what I'd expect.

I get the same behavior even if I add -N to the command line, which sets nocompatible.
