Hi. I use Windows XP SP3 and latest pre-compiled Windows version of Vim 7.3.46.
I found out that my Vim makes pause about 1 second i "go away" from file when opened file contains letter "g" in the beginning of the filename or dirname. Steps to reproduce, please test it guys who have access to Windows machine (i tried it on Linux, but on Linux all is ok): *) Create file "C:/g.txt" *) Open it in Vim (I tried both Vim and Gvim - lags is the same) *) type :e *) look: is file reloaded immediately or is there a pause about 1 sec? If no, then, well, probably this is some my local troubles, but i have no idea what it could be, because: I tried to remove all my scripts and _vimrc, so output of :autocmd is absolutely empty, output of :scriptnames is absolutely empty too. All other Windows applications works nice with these files. I tried to reproduce it on Linux machine, but all works nice on Linux.
