Wonder why that didn't show up as an error when I ran it? Anyway,
that's an easy one to fix -- merely needed to delete the extra endif.
Did it actually cause you problems?
Not AFAICT
How did you detect it?
The three lines listed above appeared above the command-line (and were
saved, recallable by the :messages command) when my handwritten
Session.vim used some netrw command. From what I see around the error in
the messages history, I think that the command which triggered the error
was "tab sv ftp://ftp.vim.org/pub/vim/patches/7.3/README".
I'm
inclined to wait before putting out another version to Bram unless its
actually causing someone's vim+netrw to have difficulties.
OK, I'll edit $VIMRUNTIME/autoload/netrw.vim, which usually shouldn't be
done, but this time I *expect* the file to be overwritten (and the edit
to be confirmed, or maybe overridden) by the next update to that file.
Thanks,
Chip Campbell
BTW -- I'm doing one of those (as Bram called it) typical American tours
-- about 8 days in Italy, then a day in Paris, one in London, and then
back to the USA. Maybe Belgium in the future...
Happy Easter holiday.
Best regards,
Tony.
