I've looked through the session file (which was produced using
:mksession) and there is no problem that I can see with it.  The only
line that (as far as I can tell) does anything with autocommands is
doautoall SessionLoadPost
After I saw that I re-tested, thinking that perhaps the
SessionLoadPost was called only when a buffer was first made active
(rather than at the actual time of the call to doautoall).  I thought
perhaps there was only one extra call to SessionLoadPost per buffer
and so the problem might go away after that first call.  It didn't.
