In the configure script I need to set the following value >> CFLAGS="$CFLAGS -D_ALL_SOURCE -Wc,float(IEEE),HALTONMSG(3296)";
But in "config.mk" that produces the following >> CFLAGS = -O -D_ALL_SOURCE -Wc,float(IEEE),HALTONMSG(3296) -W c,dll So in config.mk I need to "escape" the "()" I have not been able to figure out how to reconcile these two contradictory "requirements" I have not been able to figure out how to add the needed "escapes" to "config.mk" Any attempt to add "escapes" as follows (in the configure script) causes the configure script to FAIL >> CFLAGS="$CFLAGS -D_ALL_SOURCE -Wc,float\(IEEE\),HALTONMSG\(3296\)"; CFLAGS="$CFLAGS -D_ALL_SOURCE -Wc,float\\(IEEE\\),HALTONMSG\\(3296\\)"; I have tried many different combinations ( all attempts have failed ) -- You received this message from the "vim_dev" maillist.
