A month ago I emailed messages to a couple of folks on the
vim-user mailing list who had helped answer some questions I had.
The message invited them to try out the Vim Forms Library I
created. Basically, a TUI for Vim on both vim.org and github:
https://github.com/megaannum/forms
http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=4150
It depends upon my Vim Self object prototype library:
https://github.com/megaannum/self
http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=3072
At the time, Bram suggested that I drop a note to the vim-dev
mailing list to invite others to use it (he was not endorsing
the Forms Library, simply suggesting a way I could reach others).
Its a Widget library (but I use the term Glyph) with layout and event
handling (keyboard and mouse). It includes such things as: Label,
CheckBox, RadioButton, Fixed and Variable length Line Editor, Text
Editor, SelectList, PopDownList, Horizontal and Vertical sliders,
Button, Toggle Button, Drop Shadows, Inset/Outset Frames, Viewer,
the top-level Glyph, the Form, and more.
There are also demonstration forms that include a fully functional
TUI version of the GVim menubar and popup menu.
And, there is a developer tutorial.
Feed back is welcome.
