I think it's OK, although it might be better to give a real working
example, such as `:.,$!cmd`. But then having to explain that ".,$" can
be any {range} isn't easy to read. Perhaps best is to give both the
generic form and a specific example:
You can filter lines of text with `:{range}!cmd`, for example
`:.,$!fmt -w 40`.
