I use neither. Just replying to the “web pages are typically in ascii, not compressed”. HTTP compression is a very common thing, but I’ve never seen any program or library that does not decode the reply (or, at least, ask server not to compress) until you read the doc seeking for that specific behavior. -- You received this message from the "vim_dev" maillist.
