We could also make vim inject those idomatic lines automatically. But I don't think its important enough to worry about - unless somebody prooves me wrong.
We don't have to forget: yzis failed. Whatever we do, we have to make sure community follows. For those who know it: yzis is a Vim clone written in C++ trying to get things right.
