It basically does the same, but is little bit smarter because it also
scrolls down using <c-d>. syntime report is finally written to a file.

It also compares old vs new engine listing timings.

With those files I tested I can confirm everything Bram said.

Plugins like matchit.zip also should benefit a lot from the new engine.
