What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Move to Germany. Anyway, make sure Vim is executed with a non-english
locale.
2. :set stl=%P
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Notice that the strings "Top", "Bot" and "All" are translated according to
the current locale. But the help file for 'stl' for option %P says "Always
3 in length" which is not true for several languages.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
7.3.429, Ubuntu
Please provide any additional information below.
I never had any problems with that too long strings, so maybe the
sentence "Always 3 in length." can simply be removed from options.txt
