I tried building with clang, here's what I got:

Don't really know what could be the problem here, I'm trying to compile with 
quite a bleeding edge setup here, but should work, if it's Apple's fault I'll 
be glad to fill a bug report on their side.

Have you tried building with clang instead? Try:

export CC=clang

before you run the configure script. And in the same shell (where CC=clang is 
exported) do make after.
