Well rats, I thought I could help here, because I'm compiling on Solaris 9. But it compiles fine on my system, even when I do "normal" features like you did instead of "huge" with python like I did. But a google search eventually led to this for compiling an unrelated program: http://lists.samba.org/archive/rsync/2008-January/019675.html Back to Vim, looking through the options in src/auto/configure, you might try doing: ./configure --disable-acl I'm not sure exactly what behavior that will strip out, but it might compile at least. -- -- You received this message from the "vim_dev" maillist.
