To sum up: - some content is outdated - the community is changing (eg people look more and more on github or somewhere eles) - community is providing content (eg regular tips) which is not yet visible on vim.sf.net which will make it more likely that the project dies again (sooner).
That's why I think some pages should be managed by the community. Community can cope with wikis, such I think they should have a more visible position in the left navigation bar. The most valuable place and resource are users visiting vim.sf.net - we should try to serve as good as we can (and better than google does) But this would require rethinking about hosting, implementing code search and much more. But I slowly start understanding that its only "me having issues with". So I'll just shut up. I should do a break from all Vim stuff and focus on what's important to me. People are always welcome to join. A really great example is haskell.org - they got a lot right about directing users to what is important (IMHO).
