I do not see deprecation warning in :h curly-braces-names. These expressions 
are sometimes convenient (though I generally avoid them in a favor of regular 
dictionaries).

This specific bug was found by reading source code, not actually using 
expression with equals sign inside: :let for listing variable values is 
something like never used in scripts. What for may you need it?
