Thanks Bram, I see you've modified the patch at 
http://ftp.vim.org/pub/vim/patches/7.4/7.4.208 thanks. However the md5 listed 
at http://ftp.vim.org/pub/vim/patches/7.4/MD5SUMS wasn't updated, it should be 
4f6f05ea3834293e9931f66c3b384368
