What do you mean, "wish for"? It appears ":scr" does work as
":scriptnames". Although both "c" and "r" are flags for ":s".
At the moment, according to help, only :scrip is reserved for :scriptnames.
It would be nice if :scr continues to work for :scriptnames and not for another
command.
