Thanks for your effort.  I am using the mercurial repository of vim, thus no 
need to send me files which Bram has included already.

Currently I am satisfied with my improved version of the patch as posted on 
2014-12-16 Tue 04:09:31 +0100:
it works flawlessly and yields everything wanted.

Defensive code style is considered preferable.  Thus I will check your patch 
when rebuilding vim next time in a few weeks.  Thanks for your contribution.
