Hello Vim developers,
First, thanks for fixing this issue with unmapping CTRL-C, Bram and
Christian! Unfortunately, after patch 7.4.569, I cannot map <C-C> in
visual or select mode any more. (I have mapped this to "copy to
clipboard", similar to what's in mswin.vim.)
Steps to reproduce:
$ vim -N -u NONE
:vnoremap <C-c> :<C-u>quit!<CR>
:echo "Press V CTRL-C now"
" (stays inside Vim)
Interestingly, :normal or feedkeys() still work:
:execute "normal V\<C-c>"
" (quits as expected)
This happens with a HUGE Vim build, on both Windows/x64 and Linux/x64.
Other modes work fine, only :vmap, :xmap, and :smap are affected.
