Sorry, I know this is addressed in other posts, but most of the discussion is on the failure of a patch. This is a new problem for me with v7.4
I use vim like sublime vim . v (on specific file) <c-w>h P etc... 2 windows are open, the netrw file browser and an editable buffer When I use P to replace the current file, the file in the editable buffer gets buftype=nofile If I stay in the the main window I can :edit files with no problems.
