A bit late to the game. But staying free and open, I think a consideration to were the code is hosted, is something to have in mind. Recently the libreCMC project chose[1] to go with NotABug.org[2], which is hosted on an open solution[3], and run by the community. It's Git still, and not Mercurial. Not to say Github isn't good. I however prefer a more open platform. Just my two cents on the matter.. Sincerely, Birger J.
