I also don't get what mattn is saying: github.com/vim belongs to vim_dev and vim/vim will become the new main repo. AFAIK it is currently experimental and is meant to be overwritten later. My point is to use the most popular mirror (vim-jp/vim) as it's base / ancestor, instead of creating a new base without any ancestor.
