I also get a feeling some of the ways that it indents might be controversial. Since there isn't something like PEP8 for Python, I don't know if there is a way to establish consensus or what Lua users think indenting should be like. In the tests I have, I tried importing some of the test cases from nmap, and I disagree with how some of the indents should be done / the code style.
