Previously this worked, but in the last day or so it has broken.
Vim sends a message to the server, the server first sends Vim a message with message number 0, then Vim completely ignores a message with the same index it sent.
Attached files reproduce this. Place both in the same directory, and source the Vim script. Vim should echo two messages, but only echos one.
