Thanks. Toothpik, if this exact same command doesn't work for SUSE due
to the package names being different, then try
sudo apt-get build-dep gvim
at a bash prompt, after making sure that package zypper-aptitude is
installed. Depending where you call it from, you may have to give the
root password to the "sudo" command. ("gvim" is the name of the
openSUSE package containing Vim with GTK2 GUI.)
After that, reconfiguring and recompiling Vim ought to go well. (But
let's keep fingers crossed.)
