I want to develop a new version vim in a new window platform called Nano Server
and prepare to contribute back to the vim. It is published by Microsoft and
will used as Azure Host. Compared with full window API, Nano server is missing
some of API that vim need. Such as

    GetNumberOfConsoleMouseButtons

    GetNearestColor

    GetDlgItemTextA

    ....

And after just a few modify that the vim can run in that platform. My question
is how can I modify the source code to let the compiler do not compile the
missing API, an example is:

    if (mch_icon_load((HANDLE *)&g_hVimIcon) == FAIL || g_hVimIcon == NULL){
        g_hVimIcon = ExtractIcon(NULL, (LPCSTR)exe_name, 0);
        }

The New platform's API only have ExtractIconW (unicode)but not ExtractIconA
(Ascii). The compiler give errors even I do not use that API, so what can I
modify?
