With this patch, the last line in test_channel.vim is enabled:
" Uncomment this to see what happens, output is in src/testdir/channellog.
-" call ch_logfile('channellog', 'w')
+ call ch_logfile('channellog', 'w')
After running the test, 'channellog' will be left.
Is this intended or just a mistake?
