Just a guess: could it be that the test relies on having previously done "make install" to find help files and you have not run "make install" before running the tests? If that's the case, it's a problem with tests, as I don't think that tests should rely on "make install". The proper order should be something like this: $ cd vim $ rm src/auto/config.cache $ ./configure --with-features=huge --enable-gui=gtk3 $ make -j4 $ make test $ sudo make install # if all tests passed Regards Dominique -- -- You received this message from the "vim_dev" maillist.
