I opened an xterm and dragged it to the full width of my two
monitors.
$ echo $LINES $COLUMNS
50 370
Then I opened vim with four vertical windows:
$ vim -N -u NONE -i NONE -O4 -c 'set mouse=a'
There are several problems with the resulting display.
Problem 1:
I cannot drag the vertical separator between the third and fourth
windows.
Problem 2:
When I drag the vertical separator between the second and third
windows to the right, it works fine until I've dragged it about 20
columns. Then it suddenly snaps to the left so that the widths of
the first and second windows are 1 each, the width of the third
window is 274, and the width of the fourth window has remained 91.
Problem 3:
I cannot select the fourth window using the mouse. I can click in
any of the first three windows and that window is selected, but
clicking in the fourth window selects the first window.
Running Vim 8.0.1203, normal version with GTK2 GUI, in an xterm
version 318, on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.2.
Regards,
Gary
