Window's vim.exe (running in the Windows Console) exhibits the following odd behavior with "termguicolors" set: all color settings (only gui* defintions are used) are honored except for "StatusLine"'s.
Given the following definition: >>> highlight! StatusLine guifg=#666666 guibg=#E0E0E0 gui=NONE the statusline is shown in bold, reverse, and "highlight StatusLine" returns: *** StatusLine xxx cterm=bold, reverse guifg=#666666 guibg=#E0E0E0 At the same time e.g. >>> highlight! User1 guifg=#DD00DD guibg=#E0E0E0 gui=NONE is - correctly - displayed; and "hightlight User1" return: *** User1 xxx guifg=#DD00DD guibg=#E0E0E0 (Mind the same guibg=, and gui= defintion of both colors.) Only by adding cterm=NONE to the StatusLine definition above, the color is set correctly. -- -- You received this message from the "vim_dev" maillist. Do not top-post!
