Hi,
>From a terminal window, running
:call feedkeys("KEY", 'x')
adds either
KEY$
or
KEy$
to the terminal command line.
This also occurs when "KEY" is the beginning of a longer string, e.g. for
"KEYABCDE", the $ is embedded in the string
This does not occur with the other feedkeys() options.
Help on feedkeys() does not mention 'KEY' as a {string} value, nor is there
mention of this in :h normal, which :h feedkeys() refers to when discussing the
'x' option.
I did not find anything that seemed related per web search on 'vim "feedkeys"
bug KEY 'x' option'
