Proofreading comments (with line numbers):
L.63-64 E937…which is in use, …kiu estas uzata (passive participle:
"uzanto" would be active, "which is using" something), or …kiu estas
en uzo (wfw "in use").
L.193-200: "All", "Bot" "Top" are intentionally all the same length, 3
characters as in "nn%". Shouldn't the translations try to do the same?
"Ĉio" (= All) already does; for the other two it is somewhat harder
however. Maybe "Fin" or "Sub" (= Bot), "El " (with space) or… or what?
(= Top). Hm, nothing satisfies me perfectly: "Traduttore, traditore".
Dominique, what do you think?
L.529-530, there is:
msgid "E690: Missing \"in\" after :for"
msgstr "E690: \"in\" mankas malantaŭ \":for\""
"malantaŭ" means "behind" as in "la muro estas malpura malantaŭ la
ŝranko" (the wall is dirty behind the chest [of drawers]). Wouldn't
"post" ("after", in this case in reading or parsing sequence) be
better? I'm not sure. (Also L.4748, 4777, 4823, 4827, 4831, 5523,
maybe more) (N.B. The respective opposites, "in front of" and "before"
both get translated as "antaŭ".)
L.636-637, there is:
msgid "E704: Funcref variable name must start with a capital: %s"
msgstr "E704: Nomo de variablo Funcref devas finiĝi per majusklo: %s"
Mistranslation: "finiĝi" means "(to) finish" (intransitive)
Should be: …devas komenciĝi per majusklo (or in more colloquial
language: "Nomo de Funcref-variablo eku nepre majuskle")
L.1003 sqq: Happily in Esperanto, like in English, after a number (a
strictly positive integer) the substantive can only be singular (if
the number is 1) or plural (if the number is anything else). I wonder
how these lines are translated in Slavic languages such as Russian
(where there are 3 forms depending on whether the last word of the
number is 1 [as in 1, 21, 31, …, 91, 101, 121, …], 2-4 [as in 2, 3, 4,
22, 23, 24, 32, …] or anything else including 11, 12, 13, 14), or in
Celtic languages such as Breton (where the rule is even more complex).
L.2592: a: Trovi valirizojn al tiu simbolo
Is "valirizo" (a word unknown to me) the right translation for
"assignment" or is there a typo here? Trovi valorizojn? Trovi
valorigojn? Trovi asignadojn?
L.3490-3491, there is:
msgid "Swap file is encrypted: \"%s\""
msgstr "Perumutodosiero .swp estas ĉifrata: \"%s\""
Notes:
1. Permutodosiero, no *perumutodosiero (which has a spurious additional u)
2. ".swp" not present in English text. Remove? (also L.3480, 3593,
3596, 3756, 3762, 3789, 3799, 3808)
3. Wouldn't "estas ĉifrita" (≈ is the result of encipherment) be
better than "estas ĉifrata" (≈ is now in the process of being
enciphered)?
L.3593: "permutodosiero" should be one word, not two (if only for
consistency); "permuta dosiero" (with -a marking the adjective) might
be acceptable but is inconsistent with other translations in the same
file.
(passim) "Python" is translated as "Pitono", other names (Funcref,
MzScheme, Gnome, Cocoa, etc.) are left as-is. I suppose this is
intentional? — N.B. "pitono" is the Esperanto name of the Python
snake. The Esperanto Wikipedia about the Python language
https://eo.wikipedia.org/wiki/Python_%28programlingvo%29 begins
"Python, foje Esperantigite Pitono, estas…" (Python, sometimes
Esperantized as Pitono, is…) so I suppose this translation is
legitimate. (It surprized me so I looked it up.)
L.4851-4852, there is:

?Ŝangota? (ŝanĝas? transiras?)
N.B.
1. I read to the end but rather fast, maybe there are things I missed.
2. The Esperanto "style" differs in many places from what I would
spontaneously use but that is a matter of taste, I "mostly" left it
unmentioned.
