The archive is a decent starting point for an updated version, so thanks for finding that. However, I was unable to find anything on either the traduc site or on freenode (could that just be me?). Re: GitHub, I thought of hosting files there because it facilitates other people collaborating on a translation but also a sort of "public archive" that shouldn't disappear in the near future.
