Strange. I was very careful to reliably replicate it on my machine... In any case, I re-compiled with the patch, and I can no longer produce what I was seeing. Weird. Perhaps I didn't include :set lazyredraw? > Not sure what you mean, :redraw is independent of setting the title. I was referring to the fact that ex_redraw() calls maketitle().
